Guidance with a human connection

Protection is personal. The explanation should be, too.

Each conversation begins with the decision in front of you—then works backward from your coverage, household, and priorities. These original scenes reflect the calm, grounded approach behind Boyd Financial Group.

People before policies

Your life should look familiar in the conversation.

Older adults are not one audience with one need. Some make decisions independently, some with a spouse or family, and some are planning around recovery or legacy. Lee starts with the person, current coverage, and goal before discussing any product.

Every situation is personal. These are helpful starting points, and Lee can walk through the details with you.

When should I start preparing for Medicare?

It is helpful to begin learning about your choices a few months before turning 65 or losing employer coverage. Your exact enrollment window depends on your circumstances.

Can Lee review Medicare coverage I already have?

Yes. Lee can help you review how your current coverage fits your needs and explain other available options from the companies he represents. Enrollment changes are subject to Medicare eligibility and election periods.

What kind of life insurance do I need?

It depends on who and what you want to protect, how long you need coverage, your budget, age, and health. A needs-based conversation can help narrow the choices.

Does Medicare cover dental, vision, and hearing care?

Original Medicare generally does not cover routine dental care, routine eye refractions, hearing aids, or hearing-aid fitting exams, although it may cover certain services when specific medical rules are met. Some Medicare Advantage plans and other coverage may offer additional benefits, so Lee starts by checking what you already have before discussing separate coverage.

What is hospital indemnity insurance?

Hospital indemnity is limited fixed-indemnity coverage that may pay a predetermined cash amount when an event meets the issued policy's terms. Payment is not based on the medical bill, may not equal what you owe, and does not replace Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medigap, or other comprehensive health coverage.

Where does Boyd Financial Group serve clients?

Boyd Financial Group serves clients in Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Tennessee, and Indiana. Product availability and eligibility vary by location, carrier appointment, and individual circumstances.

Does contacting Boyd Financial Group require me to enroll?

No. Calling or emailing does not obligate you to enroll in a plan and does not affect your current Medicare coverage.

Who will I speak with when I contact Boyd Financial Group?

You will work directly with founder and owner James “Lee” Boyd. Boyd Financial Group does not hand inquiries to a call center.

How can I verify Lee’s producer identity?

Lee’s National Producer Number is 15712657. It is one public identifier; product-specific authority and availability still depend on current licensing, carrier appointments, annual certification, and the client’s location.

Are Medicare and life insurance discussed in the same sales appointment?

No. Medicare and life insurance conversations are handled separately. Life insurance and other non-health products are not marketed during a Medicare Advantage or Part D sales activity or presentation.
